For over forty years, not in the desert per se, our family and some friends have done a kind of Seder, an alternative one in many ways.

We have gathered together to taste the foods of the holiday, to remember the original story and to expand on it.

We were slaves in the land of Egypt and God, via Moses, sent a variety of plagues against the people of Egypt to persuade the Pharaoh to let the Jews be free.
